The Tadpole Programme: An Innovative Project For The Internationalisation Of Higher Education Research

The event will take place over two days, the first in Padua on 24 April and the second in Buenos Aires on 30 April 2024, and aims at presenting the TADPOLE ‘universiTy of pADova Phd prOgram for doctoraL studiEs’ program started on an experimental basis with the 39th cycle of the PhD Course in Specialist Translational Medicine ‘G.B. Morgagni’ proposed by the University of Padova.

Tadpole offers structured medical personnel the opportunity to enroll in the PhD program and thus participate in the training and research activities offered by the University of Padua. At present, the program has 15 Latin American students enrolled in the six curricula into which the Course is structured.

During the two days, through the speeches of national and international lecturers, experts and representatives of Italian and international bodies and institutions, the innovative contents of the program will be presented and the opportunities it offers will be discussed, involving public and academic institutions, the main scientific stakeholders and the public-private system in the field of basic and applied research in the knowledge of care.
